The first step installs the app; the rest enable the keyboard in Apple’s Settings.

Open the Abu Sayed app once
Go through onboarding, choose the layout you prefer, and continue to keyboard activation.
অ্যাপটি একবার খুলে পরিচিতির ধাপগুলো দেখে নিন, পছন্দের লেআউটটি বেছে নিন, তারপর কীবোর্ড চালু করার ধাপে যান।

Add the keyboard in Settings
Go to Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard → Abu Sayed Bangla.

Decide about Full Access

Switch with the globe key
In any text field, tap or hold the globe key and select Abu Sayed Bangla.
যেকোনো লেখার ঘরে গ্লোব কি চেপে বা ধরে Abu Sayed Bangla বেছে নিন।
Three layouts, one offline engine.
Choose Phonetic, Probhat or National from the app settings; all of them use the same offline engine.
অ্যাপের সেটিংস থেকে ফোনেটিক, প্রভাত বা জাতীয় — যেকোনো লেআউট বেছে নিতে পারেন; সবগুলোই একই অফলাইন ইঞ্জিনে চলে।
03 — Permission clarity
Full Access is entirely optional.
Core typing works without it
The keyboard’s core typing works without Full Access. If enabled, Abu Sayed can share local settings and learned words between the app and keyboard extension.
Apple shows a broad system warning for third-party keyboards. Abu Sayed’s normal typing flow has no network access and does not send your keystrokes to our server.
বন্ধ রাখলেও বাংলা লেখা যায়
Full Access ছাড়াই কীবোর্ডের মূল কাজ চলে। চালু করলে অ্যাপ আর কীবোর্ডের মধ্যে সেটিংস ও শেখা শব্দ ভাগ করে নেওয়া যায়।
তৃতীয় পক্ষের সব কীবোর্ডের জন্যই Apple একটা সাধারণ সতর্কবার্তা দেখায়। আবু সাঈদের সাধারণ টাইপিংয়ের পথে নেটওয়ার্কের কোনো সংযোগ নেই, আর আপনার কি-স্ট্রোক কোনো সার্ভারে যায় না।
04 — Optional voice feature
Voice Typing is processed differently.
In the container app, not the keyboard
The Voice Typing screen asks for microphone and speech-recognition permission. It can use Device Only when Bangla on-device recognition is available; otherwise Apple’s speech service may process audio.
The keyboard extension itself does not use the microphone, and we operate no voice server.
মূল অ্যাপে আছে, কীবোর্ডে নয়
ভয়েস টাইপিং ব্যবহার করলে অ্যাপটি মাইক্রোফোন আর স্পিচ রিকগনিশনের অনুমতি চাইবে। ডিভাইসেই বাংলা রিকগনিশন থাকলে “শুধু ডিভাইসে” পদ্ধতিতে চলে; না থাকলে অডিও প্রক্রিয়া করার জন্য Apple-এর সার্ভার লাগতে পারে।
কীবোর্ড নিজে মাইক্রোফোন ব্যবহার করে না, আর আমাদের নিজের কোনো ভয়েস সার্ভারও নেই।
05 — Troubleshooting
Three checks when the keyboard will not show up.
Did you open the app?
Open the app once and complete onboarding.
ইনস্টলের পর অ্যাপটি একবার খুলে পরিচিতির ধাপগুলো শেষ করুন।
Enabled in Settings?
Confirm “Abu Sayed Bangla” appears in the Keyboards list.
Keyboards তালিকায় “Abu Sayed Bangla” আছে কি না দেখে নিন।
Used the globe key?
Hold the globe key to open the available-keyboard list.
গ্লোব কি চেপে ধরলেই চালু কীবোর্ডগুলোর তালিকা খুলবে।
iOS may temporarily show Apple’s system keyboard in protected fields or where an app disallows custom keyboards. Test in a regular text field.
সুরক্ষিত ঘরে, বা কোনো অ্যাপ অনুমতি না দিলে, iOS সাময়িকভাবে Apple-এর নিজের কীবোর্ড দেখাতে পারে। সাধারণ কোনো লেখার ঘরে পরীক্ষা করে দেখুন।
