Download AbuSayed-1.2.1.pkg, then compare the published version, file size and SHA-256 checksum above.

Open the installer
Open the downloaded .pkg package and run the installer. Allow macOS to verify its developer signature and notarization.
নামানো .pkg ফাইলটি খুলে ইনস্টলার চালান। macOS-কে সাইন আর নোটারাইজেশন যাচাই করতে দিন।

Approve as administrator
macOS may request administrator approval to install the input method in /Library/Input Methods/.

Add the input source
Open System Settings → Keyboard → Text Input → Edit → + → Bangla, then choose an Abu Sayed layout.

Type pronunciation with Latin letters.

The familiar Probhat fixed layout.

Abu Sayed National
The National/Jatiya fixed layout.

Switch from the menu bar
Open the input menu (globe or language icon) and select Abu Sayed. Control + Space commonly switches input sources, subject to your macOS keyboard-shortcut settings.
মেনু বার থেকেই বদলান
ইনপুট মেনুটি (গ্লোব বা ভাষার আইকন) খুলে Abu Sayed বেছে নিন। সাধারণত Control + Space চাপলেই আগের আর এখনকার ইনপুট সোর্স বদলায়; আপনার macOS-এর শর্টকাট সেটিং আলাদা হলে সেটাই কাজ করবে।

When Bangla is missing from the list.

Check that the installer finished
In Finder, use Go → Go to Folder and open /Library/Input Methods/; confirm Abu Sayed.app is present.

Log out and log back in
macOS may require a new login session to discover a newly installed input method.
নতুন ইনপুট মেথড খুঁজে পেতে macOS-এর একটা নতুন লগইন সেশন লাগতে পারে।

Add the input source again
Return to System Settings → Keyboard → Text Input → Edit → + → Bangla.
আবার System Settings → Keyboard → Text Input → Edit → + → Bangla-তে গিয়ে দেখুন।
Stop unless the installer came from this page, its version and checksum match, and macOS developer verification succeeds. Contact support instead.

05 — Uninstall
Remove the app and the local data separately.
Decide first whether you want to keep your learned words. Removing the app does not automatically delete local support data.

Switch to another input source
Select ABC or another keyboard from the menu bar.
মেনু বার থেকে ABC বা অন্য কোনো কীবোর্ড বেছে নিন।

Remove the Abu Sayed sources
In System Settings → Keyboard → Text Input → Edit, select each Abu Sayed source and choose −.
System Settings → Keyboard → Text Input → Edit-এ প্রতিটি Abu Sayed সোর্স বেছে নিয়ে − চাপুন।

Move the input method to Trash
In Finder, open /Library/Input Methods/ and move Abu Sayed.app to Trash. Administrator approval may be required.
Finder-এ /Library/Input Methods/ খুলে Abu Sayed.app ট্র্যাশে দিন। প্রশাসকের অনুমতি লাগতে পারে।

Optional: delete learned data
Skip this to preserve learned data for a reinstall. For full removal, move ~/Library/Application Support/Abu Sayed/ to Trash.
আবার ইনস্টল করলে শেখা শব্দগুলো রাখতে চাইলে এই ধাপটি বাদ দিন। পুরোপুরি মুছতে চাইলে ফোল্ডারটি ট্র্যাশে দিন।

This refreshes the macOS input-method list.
